I believe the roster is set - with some new faces - but mostly the same kids as last year.

Instagram feed says no later than this Wednesday.

This - for HS level.
Did they cut a lot of kids at the high school level? The middle school teams cuts were widespread.

They ran the tryouts like a practice. They split the kids into offense and defense, and two coaches drilling/coached each group. My son said he actually learned things at the tryout. I was impressed. Hopefully this is representative of how the team is run during the season...
So did VLC end up not forming a 2027 and 2028 team? They announced tryouts for these grades but their twitter only mentions final rosters as young as 2026. If so, was it lack of interest? Same thing happened last year I believe.

Not sure if we are talking about the same HS team, but my son says that based on the network of his friends who've tried out, only a few invites have gone out. My son got an invite after the final tryout last year, so they must stagger them. I doubt they would send all the invites before the final tryout (I hope).
