Liberals don’t care about facts. And for some of the rest of 2000, the government cannot determine family relationship.

In Obama years, people were processed in the exact same cages, and slept in foils.

Unaccompanied minors, but Obama never ripped children away from their parents.

In addition we are taking about some 8+ years of the previous policy vs 1 or 2 months of the new policy.

BTW, what do the Trumpkins suggest to do about the unaccompanied minors? From kindness and charity point of view, I would like them placed in well managed hostel/foster care and adoption may be. But if the unaccompanied minor has no paper work or id with them you cannot deport them to a place that's unverified. Even if we know the country of origin, it would be cruel to ship a kid back to a place where he/she might not live. And we should not do that without the kids being given a proper legal representation.

So what should be done for unaccompanied minor?

Completely disagree with your premise. It’s a crime to ship a kid to illegally enter the US by him/her self. Ship back to country of origin and let their government put the kid in a well managed hostel/foster care and adoption may be. No need to legally represent the kid before a us court—he/she is a crime victim at this point. Get them reunited with the loving government of El Salvador or whatever sh@thole they are from.

Even a child is entitled to the substantive and procedural due process guaranteed by the Fourteenth Amendment.

The Constitution gives illegal immigrants and undocumented minors rights. Also, it's not a crime to "ship a kid to illegally enter the US by him/her self".

Obama separated families too. So did Bush and Clinton.

Trump is forced to make a temporary fix today for a decades-old problem. Just like Obama's DACA fix, the EO is subject to court challenge and cancellation by future administrations. Only congress can solve this problem.

You should stop embarrassing yourself with this level of ignorance.

Don't bother responding. You are just going to get into a crazy game of "the sky is blue no it's not" with someone who is obviously here to just say things to make people upset. That person isn't engaging in any kind of rational discourse. Ignore.

"Russia not trying to target 2018 midterms at same level."

- So, Secretary Nielson, you admit:
1) They still are.
2) Accidentally admit they did so aggressively in 2016.
3) The GOP is still aiding and abetting.

Time for trials.

First it was a deterrent. Then it wasn’t.

It was a new Justice Department policy. Then it wasn’t.

The Trump administration was simply following the law. Then it said separations weren’t required by law.

It could not be reversed by executive order. Then it was.

It hasn't ended the policy. It is a 20 day delay and whole families will be incarcerated in the meantime.
