It still brings up how can a country with an entire population the size of Arlington County go so far and the massive US can’t.

They have serious defense issues. Starting with the goalie. They came out with a formation that exposed their weaknesses and maximize the advantage for Croatia. The Argentina coach sucked. The other players for Argentina did nothing. When four players defend Messi someone else has to step up.
