+1

I hope the authorities step it up and do their job, before it is too late.

Self help eviction is illegal in almost every landlord-tenant relationship.

NEW HARTFORD — A Syracuse man accused of stalking a woman at her home over the past week was arrested outside her window Thursday night.

Police said Michael J. Rotondo, 22, of 641 Park Ave., sent the woman several threatening text messages earlier this week, before finally showing up outside her home on Wednesday. The victim called 9-1-1, but Rotondo fled before police arrived. He returned Thursday night, however, and police caught him walking around the woman’s residence at about 7:15 p.m. Charged with two counts each of third-degree stalking, trespassing, and one count of second-degree menacing, police said Rotondo was arraigned and sent to county jail on $4,500 cash bail or bond.

An order of protection was filed on behalf of the victim, and police said Rotondo was ordered to surrender his firearms. He is scheduled to reappear in Town Court on Dec. 17.

That mug shot sure looks like him.

Totally him. Just look at the eyes.

According to Syracuse.com, it is him:

Rotondo's arrest for stalking: In December 2009, he was arrested for stalking a New Hartford woman at her residence, according to the Rome Sentinel. Rotondo, then living at 641 Park Ave., Syracuse, sent the woman several threatening text messages before showing up outside her home, police said. The victim called 911, but Rotondo fled before police arrived, the article said. Michael Rotondo returned the next night, and police caught him walking around the woman's residence. He was charged with stalking, menacing and harassing. The outcome of that case could not be immediately determined.

The incident led some of Michael Rotondo's friends to distance themselves, an acquaintance said. As part of his arrest, he was ordered to turn over his firearms temporarily.

He was ordered to give up his weapons in 2009. Not sure if he would have been barred from buying more at a later date, especially if the charges were never prosecuted.

This incident may be what caused him to lose his job and have to move back in with his mother. In the transcript of the suit he filed against Best Buy, BB said that he stopped showing up for work so they fired him - maybe he was in jail. Of course, he says they sexually discriminated against him because he was a single father.

This story goes from amusing to terrifying. I hope the judge can help weave a path through all of this for the family.

He said that he was not in a relationship with the mother of his child and had never been, so it must have been a one time hook-up or something. Maybe she got drunk at a party or something...

Poor kid.

I wonder with this D-bag's sister thinks of all this
