Unfortunately it is against our contract to strike. I teach in an elementary and all we’ve heard are rumors at this point. Some schools may be using the new curriculum next year. No idea who or what it looks like. Ive been through about 4 curricula at this point so I’m not too phased by it. As a parent, I hate that my kid is a guinea pig for all of this!

I’m starting to think it may be the only way to get central to take teachers’ needs —and by extension, kids’ needs—as seriously as they take potential lawsuits.
