When did your sister find Jesus? Recently it did you grow up with this?
She found Jesus when she started dating her husband. Our parents are Agnostic. I would classify myself as the same. Our brother is an Atheist. Easter to us is about the kids and eating. Not so much the religious aspect of it. She is the only person in our immediate family that goes to church. I think that is why there was such a strong reaction from the family about having Easter at her church.

2. Please tell me you didn't actually use the word "obey" when talking to your sister. If so, I can see why there's friction. Obey is what you teach a dog or small child to do, not adults. "Thank you for respecting me wishes" is a much better way to phrase it.
Of course I used the word obey. I meant to talk down to her and be condescending. I was hoping she would lose her shit.
Then you deserve all the misery you're bringing on yourself. Grow up.
NP. Agree that everyone needs to grow up, but seeing as how OP's sister is determined to be an a$$, I don't blame her for getting a dig in. You just can't live with some people.
