They won't accept your friend's check bc shopping at costco is a paid/member privilege.
Just have your friend reimburse you. You'll be in for a bigger rebate at the end if the year.
I’ve never gotten a rebate at the end of the year. Details, please!

Doesn’t Costco only take its own Costco credit card?

Here’s a tip. Have your “friend” get a Costco membership of her own.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Ummm Costco is okay with h that s why do you all have a problem with it. With a Costco membership you are allOwed to bring a guest. When I had a membership and use to bring a friend they were allowed to pay with cash, check or s debit card. There was no need for subterfuge... you are allowed to bring a guest with you. Costco makes my bey off of the sales volume much like Walmart... geez people you are so uptight and strange!
THIS
Costco openly allows this - it’s not a big deal. Guess either pays with cash or reimburses you

It’s not even close to the same thing. Your family is going to benefit from those purchases. OP’s friend is mooching and too cheap to buy her own membership. OP isn’t picking up a few things and getting reimbursement. She is full on taking her friend TO Costco to shop with her membership privileges. You’re an idiot

Just make sure your friend doesn't buy alcohol, which will trigger carding. My former roommate and I used to share a card, but I could only use it if I didn't buy alcohol for this reason.
If she is very low income, she probably shouldn’t be buying alcohol, period.
Not your business.
And that’s why broke people stay broke, buying shit they shouldn’t.

Or cigarettes, or expensive coffee or salmon. Only grits, rice and beans
