I'm.a ward 3 resident who is not a fan. Agree there are other councmembers who sound far worse, but my vote will not impact them and vice versa. If pretty much anyone ran against her, I'd vote her out.
Another thing I question is why council members are allowed to hold two jobs - their "day job" and council member. This is not typical in other cities. Is being a fully paid council member considered a part time job? Is DC so sleepy with so few issues to address that council members can split their focus?

oh yeah, the summer employment thing. Thats the ONLY thing that gets trotted out over and over. You clearly haven't dealt with the kids in that program. We get a bunch every year in our office and its a nightmare and people go to the top begging to not have to manage them. Lets see, there ahve been fist fights between kids, pregnant teens, half just left the first day and didn't come back and almost all are functionally illiterate. Great program! And thats on top of the MD "kids" who were scamming the system to get summer jobs.
