Maybe strike a conversation based on the kids? "Larla2 told me she did XYZ today. It was so hilarious! Do you remember the first time Larla1 did XYZ? We were laughing about it for days....by the way, I miss that."

GET A PRIVATE EYE. Most likely he will get evidence of cheating after a few days of surveillance if it even takes that long.
The op already said he’s separated. If his wife is seeing someone now, it probably won’t make a difference in terms of divorce.
Nice try, cheater. I know you're a cheater because only a cheater would try to dissuade someone in Ops shoes from trying to get to the truth.

I became anxious and began questioning her every time she checked her phone. She wouldn't/couldn't reassure me that there was nothing going on and at the same time she asked me for a separation. The anxiety continued and pushed her away further, and here I am now, missing the life we used to have and my children.
I have my flaws, I'm not perfect. But I'm loyal, moderately successful, and a great father to our children. I just want to work on myself and be the best husband and father I can be.
