Conclusions from scientific studies should be drawn from the aggregate body of scientific literature rather than individual studies. Doctors and public health experts review the body of literature to inform healthcare treatments. Get your medical advise from doctors not the news.

Subject: Would you do IVF for a third child?
We're in the same boat as you. One baby from IVF, one naturally. We tried for a year unsuccessfully after periods resumed then tried an FET using a day 5 blast from the IVF. The FET didn't work sadly, so we're moving forward with IVF.
We have always wanted a big family, and if we weren't infertile the question of trying for a third would not be difficult. We'd just have unprotected sex and eventually we'd get pregnant. Infertile couples have a lot more to do to get pregnant, but the decision to pursue the larger family should be identical to the fertile couple's.
If you have the health, means, and will to do IVF for a third child, then go for it!

I wish I had done IVF for a third. Once I got my testing done SG wouldn't get me in shared risk and it just seemed hard to take money away from saving from college for the kids we do have for a small chance of having a third. But now I always wonder if it would have worked and I get a twinge of envy when I see families of three. My twins are 9 so I don't think it will ever completely go away.

Sure why not? I did nc IVF for my second. Would have done it for third if I wasn’t already 39. Don’t do IUi for dor. Check out nature cycle at doninion. It was around $5k all in.

1. Did anyone do IUI for siblings (after doing IVF for first) since it's cheaper and technically "less is on the line" emotionally? Were you successful?
2. Did anyone do IVF (not just FET) for a 2nd or 3rd child?
If I was trying for a first child and reading this I would be extremely annoyed, so I apologize in advance if this seems like a stupid or insensitive problem to ask about.
