I'm a short man, OP, I'm used to that making me ineligible for many women and I think you should have nothing to do with this guy.

I think it's fine for people to put their best foot forward with flattering photos, but lies about basic facts (age, height, physical build, career, marriage status, kids) are deal-breakers.

I shave 2 inches off any guys height up to 6 ft. After 6 ft I figure they are more accurate.

Similar to other PPS, women and men both lie about weight (often through pictures) and women lie about age.

Some guys want a woman that is “put together”. Other guys prefer more natural. I don’t know many woman that want a guy that is short but said he was 5’10. This is big preference and a big lie. That would be like me saying I’m white because AA woman have the least success in online dating of all ethnicities, try to win someone over with my sparkling personality via text and phone and then surprise when we meet face to face. You may not agree with someone’s dating preferences and it may not work in your favor but at some point you need to find the person that accepts you as you are and feel confident in who you are whether it is in vogue or not.
