Exactly. Foods with fat are higher in calories. Weight Watchers is simply pushing a lower-calorie option. If butter is higher in calories, it is going to have higher points.
I eat a substantial amount of olive oil and avocado and other monounsaturated fats during the day. And some saturated fats. But I try to limit them because they're high in calories.
Tmost people t who eat low-fat to go low calorie now know that fat-free snackwells are not in any way shape or form better than avocado toast. So it's not the fat people fear, it is the calories.
Which still matter.
