+1. My taxes are high yet my children’s school is overcrowded. One of the few Fortune 500 companies in Maryland (Discovery) is leaving. Tell me again why we have a republican Governor?

This. His rural roads funding and authoritarian school schedule policy doesn’t help me in MoCo. I will vote for the Democrat unless the Democrat is really problematic.

You're crazy. Baker has done a ton to improve our county. PG County has development all over the place and much of it is largely because of Baker. Crime is also at the lowest it's been in decades.

+1 He also refused to speak out against the Trump Muslim ban and has that autocratic school calendar policy that many parents hate. If there is a decent alternative, I’m happy to vote Democrat.

And the cuts to NIH funding and Chesapeake protections. Those directly affected Maryland and it’s residents and he was silent. The cuts to education and his idiotic executive order are also appalling. I will vote for the D unless s/he seems incompetent.

This.

+ 1

Thread started by Trumpians trolls.

This.

Look at the crap show that is Baltimore. So poorly run. No thanks.

Voting for Hogan.

Agreed. Independent here and I'm for Hogan. As a parent with elem school aged kids, the late school year start is such a small thing compared to other things that the state has to deal with.

I didn't vote for him the first time. I though he was doing ok job and might have considered voting for him this time. Then he mandated school year start and end time strictly to benefit one area of the state. I will not vote for him. I love how Rs are all about Federalism and local control - NOT.

I'm an Independent who despises both parties, but at the end of the day I have to vote for the individual who I think is the less damaging and divisive to Maryland. That person is Hogan.

Voted for Hillary but will be voting for Hogan.

And to the PP, ‘cancer ridden fat ass’? You are everything the general population detests about the liberal elite left.

No way in hell did you vote for Hillary, but nice try

That’s funny. You can believe what you want.

I’m the PP and someone else response upthread.

The Dem candidate for governor (Brown?) last time was over the top, IMO. So, I voted for Hillary because Trump seemed insane. But also voted for Hogan because Brown seemed top left for my leanings.
