If he was a wealthy gay guy, I get it. I don't understand why a 38 year old straight man wants to do this. Most young men are overwhelmed by the notion of having to raise children *with a partner*. It seems bizarre to me that he wants to do this by himself.

OP, you said you think he’s looking to you to donate eggs or be his surrogate?? Or was that a typo, or did I misread?

Putting the baby in daycare 12-13 hours a day just seems sad. Is he planning to quit coaching if he gets a baby? Are you interested in more kids? Are you interested in being with someone who has his financial situation? Has he been in any long-term relationships?
