Everyone can watch the video themselves. Which is why people are outraged. What Stewart actually said was "I didn't know about the sexual assault but it's important..." he wasn't smiling and not laughing. So put blame where it belongs.

You asked whether she named names- that's exactly what she did when she named the perpetrator. By "name names" did you expect her to name the names of the innocent victims? Because that's... that's not how being a sexual abuse advocate works.

She named names, she stood up to power, in a way more vulnerable position than Stewart. Thanks to her, this story has finally reached the light of day. She is a hero.

Contrast that to Stewart, who mocked the interviewer, seemed to be trying to almost cut him off many times, and dismissed the story out of hand.

The kid cited a podcast and "a couple of tweets" for his implication that Jon should have known. That WAS a laughable suggestion. Jon was totally serious about the actual issue of sexual assault, not smug at all.
