I told my husband I wanted a stainless steel wedding band ( because I'm allergic to everything else), and we found ours online for $15 each. They've been all we've needed for the past 7 years.
Not OP but read the rest of the thread. His intended is not like you. She wants a ring. Also, nobody cares what you want.
+1. What is it with people responding just to talk about themselves. OP asked a question, an if you can't answer it, don't reply. He asked about a ring for his girlfriend, not you. He, and others don't care that you didn't want a ring. That is irrelevant considering he isn't buying a ring for you. I'm tired if the self-centered behavior.
Have you ever been to a discussion forum before? You will find very few threads where the discussion only answers the question and no alternate opinions or perspectives are offered.
Diamonds are controversial, the tradition of engagement rings is sexist. Those things are going to create discussion. If you are going to be on a discussion form, you are going to have to accept that there will be discussion and that you can't control the discussion because an opinion was offered that you didn't agree with.

Wrong. Asscher cut is more expensive than a round diamond.
No, round is more expensive. There are several sources for this. See:

She goes out of her way if do everything for everyone else, including me. She is also ambitious and wonderful with kids. There are many reasons why I love her and she deserves a ring. One of the too reasons, is she is amazing in bed and gives me daily blowjobs!
Troll.
Op here. I am a troll because my girlfriend like sex? Sorry you don't have a sex life. You should get one and then maybe you can spend your time more wisely than calling people " trolls" on a forum.
