Here is what happened at my kids private school - the B students w connections, legacies and money get into HYPS. The rest no matter how smarter the kid was unless it was an athlete or an orchestra/band kid, no one else did.
Sounds like your kid attends St. Albans.

The SAT is an elemenatary or middle school standard at best in the 21st century + the fibrotic “adult” buffoons who make a big deal about it. Anecdote: I know middle school students scoring 99.9 percentile without adult prep. How do you like that statistic SAT worshipper!

OP: HYPSM is probably a no. There is a chance for lower ivies and other elites though.
