It is as if you all think you know everyone who lives in a given area? Do you know how ridiculous you sound? And, you think just because YOUR school uses a method of sending information home that all schools use that method? That is your arrogance showing once again.

So, what I get from this is that even the liberals here know that what happened was wrong.
I have no doubt that this happened. And, I seriously doubt it was a “parent volunteer” who did the stuffing. Because if it was a parent volunteer, that would mean that the parent had to plan to bring the flyers and stuff the folders without informing the teacher.

This is a violation of FCPS policy and needs to be reported. Because, the parent community needs to be informed that this was wrong and should not have happened.
And, the person who put the ballots in the folder needs to be held accountable.

Thank you. I’m op. I have the right to not name the school. It is a school with mostly low income immigrants. There are many schools like this in falls church. Of course judgmental, narrow minded, racist liberals will once again claim that anyone that’s a republican is anti-immigrant, but I am married to an immigrant! Liberals are such bullies. I don’t think it was the teacher and more likely it was a parent volunteer.

And one last thing, last year, right around election time, I personally saw Trump signs in peoples yards while driving around in falls church, so while we are definitely a minority, there are a few republicans in the falls church area. And if I’m not mistaken, Trump got about 4% of the votes in actual Washington DC!

So fake. Name the school and grade. What's your problem in doing that?

This is a troll post.

Never heard of Peachjar. Three different FCPS elementarues and all used those weekly envelopes.

Which decade?

Right now. What is Peachjar? Is it something our PTA should recommend to the school admin? I would love to not photocopy 500 physical PTA fliers for the envelopes!

Not OP, but I have no idea what peachjar is. And my child in western Fairfax most certainly does still bring home folders.

I have been responsible for 2 fliers myself just this past month that had to be copied and sent out.

Funny how liberals want you to name the school, but, they, themselves would NEVER name the school when they come on to complain about something.
I think you should still report it, OP. It is a clear violation of policy.

Even though those comments are facts, teachers shouldn't discuss politics with students.

They're not facts, they're opinions.

And to the PP above that, you hate people who vote differently than you do so much that you want to teach children to be ashamed of their parents? I think your kids should be ashamed of you!

Sorry, it's indisputable.

fact

a thing that is indisputably the case.

Seems as if you need to go back to third grade to learn the difference between fact and opinion.

Nope. It's a fact that Rs are awful.

You, dear, are part of the problem.

Truth hurts, huh?

There is no "attempting." OP is fully discredited.

Easiest way to establish credibility in this case is to name the school where this allegedly happened. Otherwise, it's been exposed as a complete strawman.

Yep, if this really happened it would have been on the news because it would have been the whole class or whole school, and someone non-anonymous would have complained.

It did happen. The school is mostly low income immigrants and the parents probably don't care that the sample ballot was in the folder. I'll bet the pp that suggested it was a parent was correct. There's no room parents at this school, but I know that in previous years it was a parent volunteer that did the folders.

As far as btsn, there may or may not have been republicans there, I wasn't paying attention. You can't ignore the democrats because they are aggressive and in your face. They always are on Election Day too. The republicans are never aggressive like that.

OP presents as conservative in tone and substance. Conservatives don't tend to send their children with "mostly low income immigrants" or live in communities where they are present in large enough numbers to heavily populate a school Remember, hatred for immigrants is a hallmark of their ideology. This, plus the fact that nearly all schools use Peachjar now and the fact that OP isn't naming a school where this allegedly happened points to troll/fake.
