It was not the parents in either case.

On March 3, 2009, D.C. authorities obtained a warrant to arrest Ingmar Guandique, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador. He had been convicted of assaulting two other women in Rock Creek Park around the time of Levy's disappearance. Prosecutors alleged that Guandique had attacked and tied up Levy in a remote area of the park and left her to die of dehydration or exposure. In November 2010 Guandique was convicted of murdering Levy; he was sentenced in February 2011 to 60 years in prison. In June 2015, Guandique was granted a new trial. On July 28, 2016, prosecutors announced that they would not proceed with the case against Guandique and would, instead, seek to have him deported.
OMG, what a horrible way for that poor woman to die! She was dying when people were looking for her?
What frustrates me about the Chandra Levy case is, this happened in Washington DC, an area with tons on manpower. The most logical place to search was rock creek park. If I were here then, I would have volunteered to search for her in rock creek park. I think she could have been found alive. It's such a sad case.

I believe this to be true as well. Up until recently I always thought an intruder killed job benet but after watching all the new shows about the case I now believe it was probably the brother. I think he killed her with a flashlight over a piece of pineapple.
Who staged the cover up then? That could not have been the brother.
The parents. I feel so sorry for the dad. They seemed like great parents.
