Several years ago a friend asked me to be one of two bridesmaids. Then a few months later advised that she was opting for a smaller affair and did not want any bridesmaids. I was cool with it as the reason made sense, however I was not cool when she later got offended that I didn't plan a bridal shower....ummmm....that is the bridesmaids job!

You must be either a troll, just out of high school or incredibly self centered person. If I was a ditched bridesmaid(and keep in mind that many accept it because they can't reuse) I would say sure, and never see you or talk to you again.
