Don't offer, just do. Bring a meal. Invite their children to go to the park with yours and pick them up, go sit with her in the hospital. Most people turn down offers as insincere.

Also, bone marrow donation is not a simple procedure like donating blood. It's done under general anesthesia. It's ok to decline that risk for a stranger.
What you should do is organize something for their family. You need to find out what they need specifically, then also do some research to figure out ways to help that she may not have thought of. Then send out a sign up sheet to those who work with her, and those who know her.
