Having had a lot of sex (mostly with DH) over the last 20 years, this seems ridiculous. I don't care how much excitement there is with being with someone the first time. If no org*sm, then it's not going to be better than "okay". It might still be great for the man.

Guys (on here, in real life) will say that they expect women to sleep with them very early on or we're leading them on, blah blah blah. But often when we do, they disappear afterward, or they consider us whores who probably sleep with everyone after a couple of dates. Sometimes I feel like you can't win.
That said, I've also had a couple of guys I slept with "too soon" who fell head over heels for me and proposed or were otherwise very serious. Because not all guys pull that virgin/whore BS.
But the guys who have the "virgin/whore BS" are generally douchebags. So you could hold out until date #3, so they wouldn't be dumping you for the virgin/whore thing, but they'd treat you like sh*t for some other abusive/douchy reason.
Point is: waiting or not waiting to have sex isn't going to improve the likelihood of success with that relationship.
+1. Just have sex when you feel ready to have sex. Don't play games with it -- the guys on whom the games would be effective and/or necessary aren't the ones you want anyway.
