It’s shocking the silence on these boards about this event and the fact that seventh and eighth graders were showing up wasted. I think it’s because they are mostly suburban kids that don’t attend schools that people consider elite and that’s why they don’t care? Otherwise it’s hard to figure out why there’s a 100 page thread about one student allegedly drinking at a big three and yet no word about seventh and eighth graders showing up to a party falling down drunk.
Plenty of NCS/STA, Holton and Sidwell kids there last year.
Holton yes. But not SFS or NCS or STA.
+1 I have never seen any of those DC privates going to this ever.

Seems incredibly tone deaf.
Not everyone is as obsessed with skin color as you seem to be.
It is not a matter of obsession with skin color, it is understanding history and maybe some respect. It could easily be called the "Glen Echo Ball" or the "Suburban Catholic School Spring Frolic" or any one of another names, but sure, go ahead and be Squi.
And I guess the Beatles should change the album name.
Anonymous wrote:Just to be clear: "The White Party" is not slang for private schools?
What is the White Party?

My son got a picture with an Obama at the party so yes SFS and his lax buddies were there so yes STA.
Maybe so. But that must have been years ago. The youngest Obama girl is a senior and the elder one in college. At least last year, there were no kids from the middle school.

Got it. The cross check of attendees’ names against Catholics school enrollment will be rigorous this year. Let’s see if that helps.
