I recently bought some old navy rockstar jegging and love them. Finally a pair that doesn't fall down. I wear a size 10. Only negative is they smell like mothballs and washing didn't help much

+1

Joe's and more expensive jeans do absolutely nothing for me, and slide right off - so not worth it. Who are these people who spend hundreds on jeans and why?

I’m one of those people - softer, higher quality fabric, cooler overall look. If you take good care of them (wash cold, gentle, inside out and line dry) they will age beautifully and last.

YES - have them tailored in the waist. I do this with all of my jeans, AG, Joe’s, Paige, etc etc. You’ll be happy you did it

No. DP here but the fatter I get the more I have this problem. Belts take care of the problem completely. There are so many kinds of belts, I don't understand why it's an issue, OP. Get a belt!

Same here! I never had this issue until I put on 10+ pounds this year. It's like my now-thicker waist is pushing my pants down. Previously I had a small waist and big hips, so no issues. I think this is what those older men must feel like, with their pot bellies and belted shorts.

Well, this is using commonsense and you can see by the questions posted here on the regular that ain't that common.

Belts are uncomfortable. I rather have jeans that actually fit me. OP should look for jeans that fit her waist but in a curvy fit.

Buy for your hips and ass, take them up in the waist

And I’m apple shaped, so the jeans problem seems to affect many types.

I think it affects so many people because modern jeans always have stretch in them and they stretch out over time (and between washes).

Oh for the love of God. People have different shapes. You could crack a walnut on my cheeks they are still RELATIVELY small.

I have to wear belts. Just find a belt you like. I find really neutral ones so they aren't noticeable.
