We got matched with West and enrolled our kiddo, but see that the Bethune WL is moving like crazy and expect we'll get an offer. My husband is a native Spanish speaker and the immersion would be great for a year or two while we see how our lottery chances play out the next couple of years and/or enroll at West for K. So I guess the question really is -- Bethune or West for a PK3 if immersion is important?

Lots of posts about Bethune - here's a long, recent thread http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/629817.page

Maryland
Here's the link to the bus schedule, though it's not clear to which campus they're driving:

I'd also recommend calling. At the 16th St campus, at least, everyone I've spoken to has been friendly and helpful.
If the kids are older, they must be going to the Brookland campus. 16th street serves only younger kids (this year PreK and K but I think maybe 1st starting this coming year).

How do you know they're upper class?
