So my sister had a biracial baby and was unsure who the father was when she was pregnant because she had been seeing more than one person (one white, one black). My sister is white.
The baby was born very light skin but the genitals were dark. I saw him at one day old and didn't notice, and thought he was totally white. My sister had never mentioned she was unsure who the father was so I had no reason to be unsure. Eventually his turned darker (a few months later). Now he looks black, not even biracial.

If the father is so concerned about what happens to his sperm, he could actually keep in touch with the woman he put it in.
Women sometimes claim they cannot reach the father (don't know his last or real name, etc). They may not want him to know the encounter resulted in pregnancy or may want full control over the adoption decision.
They are legally required to demonstrate that they made an effort to find the father.

Since when is this a non PC term? That's literally the only name for it. Our half Asian babies' medical charts are full of references to their "Mongolian spots".

23andme will tell you percentage Black or White, but Latino isn’t a race. It can tell you a percentage of indigenous ancestry, but not all Latinos have indigenous forebears.

This folktale was popular in the years following Reconstruction. Novels abounded with the grim story of a baby "as black as pitch" born to an ostensibly white couple. Doesn't happen.
Does too. I knew a family like this growing up. Boy was 2-3 shades darker than either parent. People who did not know them well assumed adoption or something, but the child really was theirs. This was UMC neighborhood in the Midwest.

Throwback genes. If both parents are biracial, they can produce a child lighter than them both or darker than them both. My mom was darker than both her parents and her brother was lighter than both. 23andme showed they were full siblings.

Black and mixed race black/white people aren't the only ones who get Mongolian spots- asians do too. I don't know if latinos get them as well, but I wouldn't be surprised.
Some do. Latino is an ethnicity, not a race. Some Latinos are indigenous Americans. Some are of African descent. Some are White. Some are Asian. Many are of mixed ancestry and triracial (indigenous, Black, and White).
