He's the one cheating. Most cheaters ALWAYS accuse the other one first, don't trust them, and question them. He's having sex with someone else

He doesn't trust you because he is insecure. If he's accusing you of cheating why wouldn't he accuse you of vandalism?

I once accused my husband of doing something similar to my car when we were in an argument. Come to find out the neighborhood we lived in at the time had a lot of random car break ins. I felt like an idiot once I discovered the truth and my guess is the police will figure it out for your ex bf.

But on that note, run away from him. He sounds like he is unstable and quick to get angry. Jumping to conclusions and accusing someone like he seems to be doing your whole relationship is a sure fire way to ruin it.

Don't let him intimidate you. The police aren't going to believe him and this will give you an opportunity to explain that you are afraid of him so if he pulls any more stunts, they will have the backstory. I would be cautious because he sounds like the kind of guy who might continue to follow you, stalk you, etc. so consider a restraining order if he doesn't leave you alone. Truly, based on your description of him and his behavior while you were dating, this doesn't surprise me.
