Our DD has the middle name Kahlan (kay-len) which we picked after reading the book series by Terry Goodkind. The warrior in the book was named Kahlan Amnell. The name Kahlan means strong leader or warrior.

Hillary means happy and cheerful. My first daughter has the name Hilarie, and I liked the meaning and hoped it would become part of her personality.
