Nope, you aren't screwed and with that attitude you likely won't be any time soon. Not in HS any more. Guys aren't going to wait around for ten dates. 3-5 dates and no sex, any man that isn't desperate will assume you aren't interested and move on.
that hasnt been my experience. guys have waited for me.

Hmmm you have known this guy for 6 months and you're not sure you want to have sex with him yet? Sounds like you need to rethink this. You don't sound really interested.
