I love my partner's long beard. It is soft and sexy.
I was also married for 17 years to a man with a lesser beard/goatee. I loved his as well.
As long as the man is clean, hygienic, etc, I don't care.
Flip side- my guy of 10 years is fine if I don't shave. He likes things furry and he likes it trim. Easy to please

Microbiologists in Albuquerque, N.M. recently found that men's facial hair can contain as much bacteria as your average toilet seat.

John Golobic, a microbiologist with Quest Diagnostics, swabbed a group of bearded men and analyzed the results to see how dirty the beards were.

Golobic said that some of the men's facial hair contained bacteria that you would commonly find in a toilet.

Your wife is making it through the winter cold without a beard, as are most men and all woman. I would take that out of the calculation when deciding. Plus we live in the mid-Atlantic, not Alaska. It’s just not that cold here.

Female here- I’m not big on facial hair. A little scruff is okay, but full on beard- yuck. I did however date someone with a beard and it was disgusting to kiss him. If we went out for dinner, afterwards the thing smelled like whatever food we ate. Morning breath, morning breath beard. We didn’t date long and I never missed that beard. And I don’t think I’ll ever date a guy with a beard again.

I absolutely hate it. And mine has had his year round now for about 2 years.

He claims to get a lot of compliments. I think it is super gross. Can’t wait until this trend is over.
