Whatever brought these two together wasn't love. But I think they both were very clear-headed about why they are choosing each other. And in fact, I think that once you stop caring, abandon the expectation of being an active participant in your husband's life (don't think that ever took place, btw), have lots of space around each other, and run a comfortable home, life with Trump isn't all that unpleasant. She has lots of money and creature comforts, a son, probably her little hobbies and friends, and life isn't all that bad.
Except when he comes home wanting a BJ.
Tons of women give BJs to husbands they don't particularly get excited about, and these husbands don't keep them in minks and BMWs. I'm just sayin'.

yes, those of us appalled by sexual assault can't possibly understand true love. I adore and RESPECT my husband. I hope never to understand the kind of love that would excuse him from attacking other women. Yet when Hillary said it years ago in front of millions (she was rightfully fuming at the time because she didn't know about Bill's dalliances) you now say she was lying. So, I think Melania Trump is lying too. She's no different though Hillary has never been in a centerfold naked to my knowledge.Anonymous wrote:Wow, you lib women can't stand the thought that someone could love their DH so completely and that her words were from the heart. "I've heard how boys talk when they are growing up and they want to show off." When Anderson Cooper points out that he was 59 years old, she says "yes, I know" and has nothing else to say.
Trying to pass it off like it was an adolescent discretion? Comparing him, potential commander in chief, to her 10 year old son? Totally playing ignorant, as if women aren't hurt by the harassment and objectification of men every day? I wasn't impressed.
i thought the interview was totally not helpful to Trump as president. I mean, really, we are electing a man, not a boy, for president. If your own wife says she has 2 boys at home - a 12 y.o. and a 59 y.o., I donmt think that's really helpful for the campaign.
