The kaiser plans are like $450 a month on the exchange. They cover off with about a $6k calendar oop max. I think it'd be better to not have two insurances in a situation like that as the coordination of care thing can be beastly. How about dropping fed insurance for the year for just you and having your husband get a policy through his job. Then you purchase the Kaiser plan directly through them (I'm presuming you live in Maryland right?)

Hello, I just wanted to know if anyone knows about the negotiated IVF rate with Aetna for plan year 2019. We had to pay OOP when we did our first IVF at SG in 2017. Hoping to revive the conversation.

I was planning on going withAetna Open Access Basic JN6 (self plus one for my situation). Disclaimer, I make no warranty that this is the right plan for you.

Following up on pp's question, does who's been on the AETNA Feds plans know if AETNA will cover some of the blood work and other expenses associated with IVF even if they don't cover IVF? If so, which of the many AETNA Feds plans were you on?
