I know a lot of parents who were not happy.

I'm a new poster. My DC was in 3rd grade last year at Janney. DC was thriving. I cannot care less about the test.

He/she just can't take standardized tests unlike his peers elsewhere in upper NW.

Considering that Lafayette had the same issue, I have to think it's not the class size.

Was thinking the same thing... We bought IB for Janney but I wouldn't claim such idealistic motives. If I wanted to be part of a resurgence, I would have bought IB for an up-and-coming EOTP school.

As for the scores, I wouldn't let one grade's results in one year influence my judgment of the school.
