Wow, what an unprofessional teacher!
OP, I personally would not have shown my DD, and would have reached out to the administration (with the screen shot) directly.
Also, perhaps your DD is nice and a good student and there is no discipline problem. It could very well be that group of friends is known for being cliquish with one another or loud talkers or maybe highly inquisitive or know it alls? Not necessarily bad things but things that ease with maturity.

It is reiterated over and over at my school that we are to never, ever post anything on our personal social media about the school or the people. Most teachers will not "friend" parents or students but even still, friends of friends happen and things are widely visible. This teacher showed a serious lack of judgement and deserves whatever repercussions come her way. I would not hesitate to bring it to the proper attention. You sound very level-headed (except for the part about showing it to your child) and I'm sure you can do it professionally.

I would slow down and take a deep breath. I understand the desire to report this to the principal. I totally get why Op would want a class reassignment for her daughter.
However, I would personally be reluctant to make a big stink over something like this because I would not want to go on official record about a teacher considering my child to be a "problem". Depends on exactly what this teacher said I guess.
It's unprofessional and wrong. Would you bash a client over social media?

And I've been a teacher for over 20 years. What's right is right.
