I old button down shirts from my husband. They were very convenient for breast feeding.

I ended up wearing the hospital gown even though I carried my stuff. Honestly, it was much easier using the hospital gown. I did use my robe though. I was miserable after I delivered that I did not care if it was a hospital gown or my gown.

I surprising stayed in the hospital gown. I couldn't walk for at least a day and was in horrible pain from bad tearing and bleeding a lot. It was nice to not have to worry. I did change into a nice dress to go home and that felt good to not wear maternity clothes any longer.

+1. I showered 3 times. I always made sure someone was in the room though in case I did get lightheaded, or at the emergency button was working.

+1 million. One bag of Depends + pad. Very important to feel normal ASAP and Depends feel like real underwear

I find the hospital gowns uncomfortable. I wear it until I shower then put on a nightgown from home that's easy to nurse in. I brought more than one just in case as well as a light weight robe for layering . Also agree pants are very impractical

I changed out of the hospital gown and into pj pants and a nursing tank as soon as I possibly could. I also wore my own cotton undies rather than the stretchy mesh ones. Just much more comfortable for me.

I brought my own clothes but ended up wearing hospital gowns because it's so much simpler to just change when the gown gets messy and put on a new one. Messy = blood

thin nightgowns with droopy necks. i recall a very thin cotton tank dress a few sizes too big that was a pool cover-up.
