At what point, does this turn into harassment of Talyor? Kim refuses to let this drop because it's such a reliable way for her to get attention, any attention. She looks so desperate.

Therefore, Since Taylor was on speaker she knew the conversation could be overhead so what Kim and Kanye did was not illegal. Taylor rolled the dice once too many times and lost.
Yeah? It was still a complete ahole move on Kanye's part.

Folks, no it was not. Kanye has said on many occasions and in interviews that he records/video tapes all his recording sessions. Taylor knew he was in the studio, she should have at least suspected that she may be recorded.

• Yes, Kanye did in fact call Taylor to showcase the lyrics to his upcoming song. He read her the part about they "might still have sex" which she never denied publicly.
He tricked her by 1). Not letting her know she was being audio-taped and 2). Not letting her know he was going to refer to her as a bitch.
If later on, he added the bitch line, he should have called her again like he did the first time to give her a heads-up as her "friend."
He never did because there is no tape showing him telling her he was going to call her a bitch.
• In the state of CA, it is entirely illegal to record audio on a person without their consent.
What Kanye did was blatantly illegal even if she was on speaker.
He never informed her she was on speaker, he just assumed she would figure it out.
• When the song came out, Taylor had every right to be offended and she was telling the truth when she stated Kanye never asked her permission to call her a bitch or ran the song by her. Then to find out she had been recorded without her consent was the icing on the cake!!
She did nothing wrong, Kanye did everything wrong so 100% it is his fault.
No speaker phone means it was not illegal as there was no illusion of privacy based on CA law.
Anyone who has ever been put on speaker knows you can tell immediately when you are on speaker. Plus, She knew she was on speaker as she was heard talking to others in the room.
Oh, so speaker phone in a private work discussion is the same thing as broadcasting the conversation on social media for all to hear? Maybe in your world.
