PP, great advice. Do you know if you can buy bags that are not "it" but are still new? I'm lucking out on finding anything that is not this season, and I hate the colors this season. I would love a new past season bag.
The Real Real sometimes has new with tags bags and Poshmark need to search with that criteria. The real real is good about describing condition and just like a car that's value drops after being driven off the lot, there are good bags out there not technically new but in excellent condition. Thanks so much for the good info. The real real is already (after two visits) blocking me from looking without logging in. I am morally opposed to websites like that, but if it is as good as you say it is.

Barbour Jacket - may be too "country" for you, but a nice look that a lot of women like.

I spent years working in a business that catered to rich people--the kind of rich people we rarely see, actually, because they're so cocooned in their wealth. What I've noticed about really rich women is that they have a polish from head to toe. Their skin is obviously cared for, their haircut is impeccable, and they have no ragged cuticles or loose threads or stray hairs. Every item they wear is polished and well kept. The look can be simple, but the details stand out.

It won't be new, but upscale consignment shops have previous season bags. You can always take it to a shoe repair place & get it refurbished, which helps a lot.
