Yeah, you need to tell the mom, as soon as you can. If it was me, I'd want to know, for all the reasons listed above. Something is not right in that other family's lives. If it was me, I would also call CPS to report my suspicions that someone may have molested the other little boy. Sodomizing another little boy - who was uninterested - in the closet is too big a red flag. You can report anonymously.
