Yo Gabba Gabba was a nightmare.

How is it possible that it took 5 pages for someone to nominate SpongeBob? Caillou is mildly annoying but SpongeBob seriously makes me want to shoot myself.

Agreed! ! SpongeBob is worse than Calliou and all others mentioned. Didn't some poor kid have a seizure once from watching it? I remember that when I was growing up.

Lazytown gets my vote for how freaking WEIRD that sh!t is?!? WTF is up with the half puppet/ human characters!! Girl is human but her uncle is a creepy looking puppet. Then that sporticus guy- why is there a 50 year old man doing splits on a kids show?! Robbie's eyebrows?!? Dafuq is that! So no one will recognize him when he's not playing a spandex wearing, elvis looking, candy eating creep!!
I would watch ANY kids show over that mess!

I forgot about Cat in the Hat. His voice is truly grating. It's the only show banned in my house.

I hated Barney and Make Way for Noddy (netflux), although the little dance my son would do when they were on was the cutest thing ever.

I actually Jake and the Neverlsnd Pirate ( you know the two dudes at the end are total stoners) and Mikes from Tomorrowland. I have a baby girl now and I can't wait to watch Sofia. I tried to get my son into it, but he it was a no go.

I know a lot of people like it, but I always hated Curious George. Why does the monkey have to WIN everything. Think about it - any time there was a race, a contest, anything whatsoever, the money was the winner. It annoyed me.

I was also annoyed by the faux new England accents. Own it - either be specific it's set in Maine or wherever or not. Don't be half assed about it.

Caillou is the worst. SO whiny. Why is he bald? (and not bald like Charlie brown, but just bald). Frumpy mom. Weird Dad. Bad art, bad music, bad stories, weird side characters. AWFUL.

Luckily, Barney was a bit before my kid's time, but I imagine it would be close to as bad.

My son went through a brief Fireman Sam phase. That show is terrible, but at least it is short.

Before kids, my husband and I once had a late night. Wok up in th morning hungover with the TV still on, and Dora was on. We were so hungover neither of us would get up to turn off the TV, but after one song I finally found the energy. My oldest LOVED Dora, and it ended up not bothering me too much. What bothers me about Dora is the eyebrows on the secondary characters. The eyebrows are not located ON the actual character. Instead they float above the character's body. FREAKY.

Out of curiousity, why is Caillou so bad?

I used to like Caillou, until my kid hit 2-3 and got whiny. Now, Caillou 's whininess grates and works my last nerve.

The worst was when Caillou's mom sent him over to a sick neighbor's house to "help". Nobody needs to deal with a whiney kid when you're sick! I was infuriated with the mom for not having better sense.

Caillou. We thought Peppa was cute until my child became obsessed and we actually sat down and watched it. Peppa is a horrible brat. She's the english version of Caillou. We made DD stop watching after she starting acting out and sounding just like Peppa and whining like George.
