Just want to add DD's friends mom is an assistant principal and they do not get the whole summer off, more like 4ish weeks. She's already back to work (and has been for 2ish weeks).

I work in higher education as an administrator, and there are some positions at the university that are 10-month. However, they're few and far between for administrators and rarely pay well.
