Wether you make 100k or 10k the fact that 300 people came to support is no small feat. I know some galas that can't get passed 75 parents therefor its low budget.
I have never posted re Shepherd but I can't imagine they would make $100k at the Mayflower, unless the hotel is donating the room and/or food. It seems more like a booster event as it seems that most schools have their auction on campus.
I don't know of any schools that have auction in their school grounds. However, I'm more in tune in the charter scene.

She came to the BASIS auction a couple months ago which was held in NE, nowhere near her home.

And what is the gala money funding?
WTF is wrong with you? Do you apply this level of scrutiny to other schools' galas, or just Shepherd's gala?
If Shepherd boosters come here to brag about the success of their gala, they should expect to be asked questions about it. Seems like you just want to brag and then shut the discussion down.

Anonymous wrote:All the schools I donate to, yes. I don't think they're complicated questions. There must be some fundraising goals. Tell us what they are so we can fund them.
