Remember that if any of this stuff is actually classified, *anyone* sending or receiving those emails could be in trouble because they were not sent on a classified server, nor are they sitting on a classified server now.
Who said anything about Blumenthal?
It will be interesting to see WHO sent these emails.
And, how the FBI handles this situation with this person/these people.
One of the fully redacted (due to now being classified) emails is from Blumenthal. Clinton, once again, did not send any of these emails. Once again, none of the material was classified at the time.
You are listening to Clinton. We don’t know if SHE sent the emails yet. We do know that she CHOSE to have a server that was unsecured. THAT is the issue. If she had done what she was supposed to do, and used the State Dept. email, there would be no issue. This is ALL her making. And, as to the statement that the material was not classified at the time..... seems to me that what has happened here is that someone took information from classified emails (yes, classified, and likely marked as such), and related that classified information in an email to HRC. So, while the email itself was not classified, the information was. Once again, she should have known better. Her judgment is questionable, at best. But, she is a Clinton, after all, so she is not held to the same expectations of us regular people. She is above us.![]()
Actually from the FBI's perspective this is not the issue. The issue is whether or not Clinton is possible subject to blackmail in the past, now or future. That's why you never lie on the FBI clearance forms. They don't care if you smoked marijuana. They just want to know where and when so when you are in a position of power your can't be blackmailed. Hillary made a catastrophic choice by using her unsecured email. Everyone in government knows the rules about handling top secret materials. She knew what she was doing. And we now know that some of those emails were picked up by enemy countries and those giving contributions to the Clinton Foundation. This is also why the FBI made such a big deal about homosexuality (yeah yeah we all know about Hoover) - it was not the fact you were a homosexual, it was that you could be blackmailed by an enemy of the state. That's the issue for the FBI and CIA.

Yeah, she did the same thing as her predecessor.
Perhaps true, perhaps not, but irrelevant anyway.
If the police stops you driving at 150 miles per hour in the highway, you cannot just say "but the car ahead of me was doing the same!" and expect to avoid punishment
Pleae, it's not irrelevant that this has been a relatively common practice which was indisputably widespread among senior Bush administration who not only used insecure servers, they also destroyed millions of emails. The hypocrisy of conservatives apparently knows no bounds.
Ahh, a follower of Obama's Leadership School: Always blame Bush!

Anonymous wrote:Guessing there isn't much in those emails since Clinton's campaign has urged State to release them all, immediately. Or maybe it's a bluff and we will learn she was being blackmailed by the Russians!
Anonymous wrote:Hey, if y'all want to run a campaign where your candidates call each other anchor babies and fixate on Clinton's email server, don't be surprised when the public tells you that these aren't the big issues in the election.
You keep repeating the same mistakes, over and over, and you don't learn from them. That is why Obama beat you twice.
Here is a clue. In 2012, voters said this was the top issue:
60% The Economy
18% Health Care
15% Deficit
4% Foreign Policy
Now let's see how that aligns with what you are discussing: immigrants, ISIS, and email servers.
Meanwhile you don't give any real time to solutions to improve the economy, you still don't have an alternative to Obamacare, and you are the party which actually busted the Sequester.
Either Obama fixed the top three items on the list, and he's therefore the best president in the history of the nation, or you need to rethink where you are spending your time.

If she isn't indicted by year end 2016, all you yappers will never post n the politics forum ever again. Do we have a bet? Or are you all talk?
Oh, you again. I do believe you may have a gambling problem.
I am not going to take your bet because an indictment is dependent on Obama and the Justice Dept. I have no faith they will do what is right.
I do believe the FBI will issue a recommendation, but that will also likely be “sealed” by the administration. You know, this administration that is the most transparent ever.
+1

Did you read there were emails between the President and Clinton recovered on that server, and that they will never be released 'to protect the President'?
I, personally, would LOVE to see those emails, especially if they are from around the time Benghazi occurred.
I, personally, would LOVE to see Jeb Bush's emails from Nov/Dec 2000.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:What about who sent the emails? Who the hell was cutting and pasting or entering classified information into an unclassified system and then sending them off to Hillary's home brew email? Huma?
This person was effectively deputizing him/herself to decide what is classified and what is not. WTF?
I would suspect that anyone who sent classified information may be in trouble as well.
Part of the problem, aside from the fact that HRC was not using a State Dept. email but her own server, is that there is an email directing the sender to send the info in a “non paper” format. Seems as if this was SOP in Hillary’s circles.
She knows better. Or should.
