My favorite SITC ep is "Take Me Out to the Ballgame," which occurs after Carrie and Big break up. I love the scene at the baseball game, where Miranda is a total baseball fan and Carrie is a fan of anything where it is okay to smoke and drink in the middle of the afternoon. She orders another beer and says she isn't drunk, she's sedated for her pain. Later she uses her press pass to stalk the new hot Yankee. Everything about this scene is perfect--Carrie determined to enjoy herself, Miranda leaning in and boring the others with her statistics, Samantha grimacing at the cheap ballpark beer, Charlotte cowering when a foul ball comes their way.

West Wing: when President Bartlet took too many painkillers for his hurt back, and shows up to a senior staff meeting high. His final line in that scene: "I'm seriously thinking about getting a dog," has be rolling every time I re-watch it.
