Gee, Glenn Beck spent $10,000 per person to relocate Christians with his Nazarene fund and that was just to get them to a host country. Other organizations are providing financial and other support after they get there. I know this because Glenn Beck wrote about it on his site. So I guess Beck is wasteful and lazy, too.

How generous of him only to rescue Christians who share his beliefs abandoning those who need it as he does not feel their religion is worthy. I could not care less that he donated some money to move folks without helping them after and long term...he just did it for bragging rights.

You do realize many of us were refugee's and immigrants including many of your ancestors. Its not about donating money. You don't get it. It would be great if they could stay in their country, but they cannot. The US is declining as we are not effectively using the resources we have. We have so much government waste and corruption... imagine if we really did some clean up how much extra we could have. The poor get food stamps and many other programs - they are income based and eligible to everyone that meets the criteria. My family came over running from Hitler. Just think, if the US took more rather than turning those who needed it away, many of our family members could have lived. But, I guess that's ok with you and I personally cannot imagine what those people are going through. I fully support having them here.

My ancestors did come here and paid their own way even though they were leaving starvation and terrible times. However, the US did not pay for them one cent. They came here for one legally and waited in line and for two, they paid their own way and stayed with family or friends until they could make enough money. They would never have taken money from the US to come here.

Sounds like a wise and generous investment in their safety. He didn't blindly "throw" money at them.

No, they were an immigrant on a K-1 visa. Nothing to do with the refugee process at all. Generally less rigorous because K-1 applicants have someone in the US sponsoring them.

The shooter in the Paris police station definitely was a refugee that had previously been staying in a German refugee camp.
