I know someone exactly like this IRL (coincidentally, they have lyme too). everything that comes out of their mouth relates to their illness and, more specifically, themselves. I do feel bad that they are ill but the narcissism displayed in the vast majority of their posts makes it a little more difficult to feel sorry for them. JMO.

What did you all think about David's obligatory visit to Yolanda's dental procedure? He looked like he couldn't get out of there fast enough.
I thought Lisa R's face said it all when they opened Yolanda's closet and saw the incredible amount of medicine she's been taking. If Yolanda wasn't sick before, she's probably making herself sick with all that medication she's on. I wonder what would happen if she simply stopped taking all of it and went to a retreat by herself for a month, spending lots of time outdoors. I bet her body would go back to normal.
Which isn't to say she's not sick - I have no idea. But it does kind of look like major hypochondria. I think the worst of it is her putting her sick selfies on Instagram and always talking about it. Ugh. That alone would drive me away, whether I was a friend or a spouse.
(Not to excuse David Foster - I think he's a toad - but I can see how off-putting this might be to a spouse.)

I agree, too, and it makes me wonder if the continued filming was the real deal breaker. If my spouse were that sick and we could afford the best possible care, I'd be angry about their insistence on showing up at work, especially if that job entailed us both being on camera. If the rumors about the spinoff show are true, I can see how that would be the last straw.
I also agree. And, I think she misses and enjoys being a famous celebrity. She wouldn't have wanted to disappear from tv shows due to illness.
I don't agree with the PP who said lots of men will date her now. She's made such a big deal about being sick, that I don't think she's going to be beating men off with a stick - not until she's claiming to be recovered and ready for love. I think most men in Hollywood are to self-absorbed to start a serious relationship with a woman who has a chronic illness, particularly one as vague and hard to treat as this.

When a spouse has a serious illness, it can change a marriage's dynamic immensely.
This could have happened to them.
Yolanda is a beautiful woman at 51, I see no shortage of men for her now.
