Butterflies, no. I agree that those butterflies early on are actually a very mild form of anxiety. I don't miss the butterflies.
Neither of us travel a lot but I do miss him (quite a bit!) if either of us is away.
We have been married for 8 years and have two young children.

I'm not a real "butterflies" type of person. In an early relationship, I think that feeling is mild anxiety or excitement about the unknown or possibly lust. I am no longer nervous around my spouse (thank god), not much is unknown (which has its pluses), and I'm still attracted to him but no, it's not the same level of lust I had when we were 25 and had no kids.

Sometimes I look over and think he's really handsome and funny and I feel grateful. Does that count? I feel like outside of a Disney movie that's as good as it's going to get.

Yes I miss him when he travels.

    should add that we dont have children so it still feels like we're in the honeymoon phase.

    No - but i'm the one who travels. He misses me but really about 95% of that is because of the childcare burden (two under 5)
