That's what I was thinking. Not exactly the go-to town in which to set an AA show. Plus - I highly doubt there is ANYBODY in Potomac who wears that kind of makeup and dresses like those women. It all seems like an elaborate farce.
Actually, people do and it is kind of funny.

You don't know much about Chicago. It's verrrrrry white minus the south side which only had one wealthy area.
Said the girl from the North Shore. Chicago is a third black with large populations of Hispanics and Asians. It's only forty percent white which makes them the minority. So not exactly verrrrry white.

Really? I could've afforded Bethesda, but chose Potomac. Didn't feel like being on top of people all the time. We have a beautiful wooded home and couldn't be happier. YMMV.
That said, these women don't look like most people I see in Potomac.
Before we moved we had a beautiful, huge lot in Bethesda with lots of trees and woods. Couldn't even see our neighbors.
Plenty of lots like that in Bethesda... But you have to be willing to pay extra.

+1. They will not show these women in Potomac just like they don't show ATL in Buckead or the far out burbs that they live in. For all intents and purposes it will be DC/elite black women/Jack and Jill types. I know at least two of them are AKAs.

I'm excited about watching this latest entry into the RHO franchise. I grew up in MoCo among the black elite and it's an extremely small community. Most of my mom's and aunt's friends looked like this 25-40 years ago.
They will be getting into the biracial vs. black issue and I'm sure colorism will be discussed at length.
