47, recently carded. Years of sunblock, no smoking and very little drinking were good to me plus good genes so very few grey hairs. Not enough to notice. My three signs are droopy upper eyelids, weird lines on my upper lip, and a change in the texture of my skin, especially arms, legs, neck and hands. I am mostly okay with it all except the saggy eyes and lip thing. And the skin. Sigh.

Skinny white chick here. I felt like I started to look old (wrinkly) at 39, but then again, that's the year my mom died, so it was a hard year. Botox fixed me right up.

I think the most dramatic aging starts from 50-55.

I just turned 50 and people still often think I am in my early 40's. However, in just the last year I have noticed more noticeable wrinkles on my face. Especially crow's feet, forehead and now near my lips.

I'd say it was a two-step process. Around 31-32, the first signs of aging appeared. Emerging crow's feet, a couple sun spots - I just didn't look "young" anymore. I was like holy crap, I am getting old before my time (perhaps because I am really fair).

But then things just plateaued for a while thankfully - really didn't notice any changes until 39-40, the next big dropoff. Now at 40 I have a couple of grays, laugh lines, even an incipient 11 on my forehead. My only "good" feature is that I really haven't noticed any sagging or slackness. I'd attribute that to a pretty consistent weight, slim but not skinny - even across two pregnancies where I gained on the slightly lower side of recommended each time (morning sickness).

Yes, you really would! It's like you've fulfilled your evolutionary purpose, so your body stops doing all of the things that contribute to beauty. Changes in hormones will deprive you of your youth. I'm black and despite our "don't crack" rule, I've seen how much parenthood has aged me. All of the pictures I took throughout my pregnancies and in early childhood stand as a record of this decline. At 38, I was taken for being in my 20s. Now, at 44, I read late 30s at best. I am universally "ma'am'd" now. Alas...

I'm 36 and my hands are the part of me that really show my age. Years of obsessive hand-washing and sanitizing. And I never had a dishwasher until 2 years ago. And I never wore gloves while cleaning.

Any tips? I've tried every supposed miracle product.

Sure she looks younger Than I do but I've noticed how her husband treats her. When they go on bike rides her husband makes her pull the child in a carriage while he just rides by himself. I'd rather be old and white than stuck in N Asian marriage.

And my White neighbor has a cheating White husband. I'd rather be less wealthy, better looking and have a faithful husband than be stuck in a crappy White marriage.

Generalizations go both ways.

42. I'm fair and have had much too much fun in the sun. Wrinkles and a strange jaw line. My eyes also aren't as bright as they used to be.
