I think the confusion over this kind of management comes because some people don't really have that much pubic hair. And some people have a lot.

I have a friend who never shaves, never trims, ever. She naturally has a small triangle of hair that never protrudes from her bathing suit in any way.

I don't trim, because I find it actually makes my hair feel more coarse and prickly than when it is longer and curlier. But I have, let's just say, a widely spread area of pubic hair, onto my upper thighs. I do have to shave to get the small triangle that can be covered by your standard middle-age bathing suit.

Sometimes I shave and sometimes i don't. He doesn't care. If I am on the hairy side he says "I love bush." If i am shaved he says "ooooh bald, I like it."
My point is that a guy who enjoys sex enjoys sex regardless of the amount of hair (within reason I suppose). A guy who is particular about pubic hair style and stupid enough to announce it? Throw that fish back in the sea. He's probably not so great in bed anyway.

I am a 52 year old and an expert home waxer. My DD who was in the swim team wanted her bikini line waxed and so I got special wax for that. To test it out, I gave myself a Brazilian, and found it quite nice. I had never gone to a salon to get a Brazilian, because of cost, time and modesty issues. I do actually like to be bare down below for a number of reasons - no gray hair, cleaner look, feels smooth and soft, more sensation during oral, clearer during my periods etc.

Anyhow, I recently found myself in another city and got a Brazilian in a salon for the very first time. It was frankly a horribly uncomfortable experience. It was absolutely painful and the hair just broke instead of coming out from the roots. I was bristly after the first day. The lady was actually ripping it out. She was done in 20 minutes or so. At home, using hard wax, I need at least 45 minutes to take everything off, off me. The pain is minimal and the wax lasts for weeks. The new hair growth is soft and not bristly. If a salon Brazilian would have been my first experience, I would have never gone bare again.

People older that 50 have the sex?

When men of a certain age start shaving/waxing their back, sack, and ass hair, I could maybe start to consider more than trimming my bush.
