Can you expand on this? Because this is basically meaningless word salad.
Can you further elaborate on why you do think abortion is not taking "responsibility" once someone has determined that they don't have the means to care for a child?
Word salad? Sure, whatever makes you feel better.
Definition: Dignity 1.the state or quality of being worthy of honor or respect

And you, apparently, cannot read. OP specifically said she would not want her poor baby teen to have to endure the horrors of an unwanted pregnancy, since she is still a "child" herself. But crazy as your point of view is, I suppose you think it's fine for "children" in this situation to be having sex and abortions. I mean, why not. Planned Parenthood is making big $$$ off of the body parts.
Begone, nutter. You may have your own opinions, no matter how flawed your logic, but you may not have your own facts.
Anonymous wrote:Actually I've become even more pro choice since becoming pregnant. It wasn't until I understood when testing could take place and how that corresponded with so-called "late term abortion" that I got it. You only potentially find out about things at 20 weeks, may need to get an amnio to confirm, and by then you're pushing the 23 week deadline.

Uh, this is one of the major arguments in support of abortion rights. Taking charge of your body, and not bringing a child into this world if you are unable to take care of it.
That argument used as a pro-choice argument is flawed then now isn't it? If you would have made a good choice to begin with, you wouldn't have to end a life to rectify yourself.
You're making no sense. You can't end a "life" of something if it is completely unable to exist at all without being totally physically dependent on you. It is not alive in the first place.
Like a newborn.

Nope. Not like a newborn.

However since having kids I am now VERY pro choice in a way that I never would of expected. The fact is this shit is HARD and I have education, money, a supportive community, and access to good healthcare. I can't imagine how hard it is for impoverished teenagers or single parents who already have a few kids or really any un ideal circumstance. Adoption isn't perfect either and I think the "adoption bandaid" is used in theory too frequently. Now as a parent I realized that I really wouldn't want my own teenager to have to carry a pregnancy and delivery and then give up the baby...it just seems like way too much to emotionally endure as a child herself. I keep these feelings to myself because I feel they would come off as inhumane and shouldn't parenting make you more pro life? I kind of wonder if something is wrong with me. For the record I love being a parent and am happy with my life but its just a strange change of views I have experienced and was curious if anyone else has as well?
Well, gee. Then why don't you teach her not to have sex before she's ready to be a parent?
Adoption isn't "perfect" either? So that's your easy out? Depends on which party you ask, I suppose. For the to-be-murdered fetus, it probably looks pretty damned perfect, compared to the alternative.
What, do you think only non-married, childless people have abortions? LOL.
Keep on slut-shaming, it only makes you look more crazy and naive.
